Imbongi turning up Summer heat

A plan to land a second Summer Mile for Mike De Kock remains on the cards for Imbongi after his weekend success.South African trainer De Kock enjoyed his most notable British victory to date in the Ascot Group race last year with Archipenko.Imbongi was a big drifter in the betting for the Criterion Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday but blew away the market vibes with a stylish defeat of Huntdown and Balthazaar's Gift.The trainer's assistant Juan Nel said: "We were quite pleased with him and he has come out of the race well. I believe a trip to the Summer Mile is next on his schedule."
